Owner financing, simple terms, no credit check.
Get out of the city and stretch your legs on your very own 2.5-acre parcel in Arizona's Painted Desert. This beautiful piece of the American Southwest features excellent panoramic views and an abundance of privacy. If you like to get outdoors, do it on your own property, just off Route 66, away from neighbors and other campers! RV owners can camp for up to 30 days per year without a permit. This particular lot is at the northern end of this area, about 8 miles off Route 66, next to over 600 acres of state land.
If you’re planning to build a home, you can get a special-use RV permit for up to one year. Extensions are available for construction taking longer than a year. With few restrictions on the land and no timeline to build, you have the freedom to use the land on your terms.
Downtown Holbrook AZ, a town of about 5000 people, is only 13 miles away. The Holbrook area was inhabited first by the Anasazi, then Puebloans, then the Navajo and Apache. In 1540, Coronado searched for the Seven Cities of Cibola and camped some sixty miles east of Holbrook. Coronado sent an expedition west to find the Colorado River, and they crossed the Little Colorado about twenty-five miles east of Holbrook and found a wonderland of colors they named "El Desierto Pintada" - The Painted Desert.
The Petrified Forest National Park is just east of this parcel and features some excellent hiking. There are numerous popular trails including the Blue Mesa Trail, Painted Desert Rim Trail, Devil’s Playground Loop, and many others. If you’d like to drive a little further, the Grand Canyon is only 3 hours to the northwest, the iconic Oljato-Monument Valley is about 3 hours north, and the Homolovi Ruins are just an hour west.
This lot is located 25 minutes off exit 300 on Hwy 40. Roads are mostly dirt once you get away from the freeway, but they’re moderately traveled, so you shouldn’t have much trouble getting to the property. Power is near the freeway exit, but hasn’t been extended out to these private parcels yet. Solar power is a great option since there is no shortage of sunny days. Wind power could be viable as well.
I’ve included map and aerial pictures of the property as well as stock photos of local wildlife and the nearby Petrified Forest National Park.
