Efficient and Customer-Focused
Bare Land Investments is a small family-run business focused on finding unused parcels of vacant land in various parts of the United States and bringing them to the wider market, matching them up with the dreams of our customers. Whether you’re an investor, a future home-builder, a prepper, or an RV/outdoor enthusiast, we have something for everyone. If our list of currently-available properties doesn’t have what you’re looking for, just check back in a week or two. We’re always getting new parcels. But don’t wait too long! Some of these properties go fast!
The key to our business model is low overhead. Run by Kris and Erika out of our home office, expenses are low and systems efficient. This is what allows us to bring our properties to you at incredibly low prices. We don’t need to mark everything up in order to make payroll, rent, or any of the other significant costs of a traditional office.
In addition to our low prices, we don’t have quotas or deadlines. There are no stockholders expecting a quarterly earnings report. Without these external pressures on our business, there’s no hurry to push you into a property that isn’t the right fit. We can partner with you on your timeline to find the piece of land that matches your goals. Take as long as you need. Sooner or later the perfect property will come along and we’ll be here to help.
Running a Business From Home
When Erika isn’t helping with the family business, she’s homeschooling our four children. It’s a full-time job on it’s own, but the rewards for both us and the kids make it all worthwhile. It allows us to spend a lot of time together as a family. When Erika isn’t busy (which is rare), you’ll find her relaxing in the sun with a good book. I spend much of my free time coaching youth wrestling. On weekends, you’ll often find me at a USA Wrestling tournament, coaching Sam or one of his teammates on the mat. Emery, Sam’s little sister, tags along to every practice and can’t wait to join the team. Senna, our oldest, also wrestles in the winter, but much prefers the arts; dancing, singing, and gymnastics. Shelby, the youngest, spends most of her time just trashing the house and stealing everyone’s food. It’s a loud, wild household, but lots of fun. Please excuse the noise if you call and things sound a little crazy in the background!
